Resolve®
Resolve artists are grading material from a Bright Systems SAN and discussing benefits of this efficient workflow. A Resolve Conform is connected to an ARRI scanner, demonstrating its use for session preparation and ingest.
New Resolve features include Resolve TLC, for telecine and advanced machine control, Resolve Audio Ingest capability, and da Vinci’s Grading Exchange for easy transfer of da Vinci 2K® grades to Resolve.
Splice™ with 2K Plus™
da Vinci builds upon the Resolve platform with its virtual telecine, Splice. By adding Resolve Splice to a da Vinci 2K, facilities transform their grading bays to nonlinear colour correction and position themselves with scalable hardware for later file-based grading.
Demonstrations are featuring Splice’s 'one-touch versioning', supporting standard commercial requirements for multiple passes, and 'laydown mode' with dynamically sized handles for multiple deliverables created from the same content.
Revival™
Revival is interfaced with an ARRI scanner for demonstration of Revival’s built-in dirt detection matte. As film is scanned, Revival creates a matte of the detected dirt area and saves it for later recall and viewing.
