*SDR7 – IBC 2007 is the show debut for the recently launched SDR7, the company’s new DVB subtitle inserter/transcoder. The SDR7 is a DVB subtitling inserter that uses established teletext subtitling protocols, which can also extract teletext subtitles from an analogue video signal and convert them to the equivalent DVB subtitles.

It is a simple and reliable solution to a recurrent issue for broadcasters in a world of multiple formats. It will also assist in the need to comply with ever-tightening legislation in terms of subtitle provision.

The SDR7 is designed to complement existing teletext subtitling systems. It can be easily added to any teletext subtitle transmission system without the need to change established subtitle authoring or transmission processes.

*BLU-RAY DVD BUILDER MODULE – SysMedia has extended the capabilities of its DVD Builder technology to include a Blu-Ray output module. DVD Builder creates images and control files for all popular DVD authoring systems with powerfully configurable templates, and batch processing for optimum unattended workflow. SysMedia is currently developing an HD-DVD module as well.
